Technical Information

Used for the early detection of esophageal epidermoid adenocarcinoma, especially in the high-risk population (with head / neck carcinomas and users in large amount of alcohol and tobacco). Lugol also improves the margins definition of an known injury and evaluates the existence of a residual injury after musectomy. It can also increase the detection sensitivity of high-grade dysplasia or carcinoma (62% to 96%).
